The Fisker Karma

This is a picture of the new Fisker Karma hybrid that suppose to make its debut on August 15th. The super car was first shown at the Detroit auto show in 2008, since then it has developed quite a commotion. The eye catching sedan was designed by Henrik Fisker, a former BMW and Aston Martin designer. It sure does look very similar to those style of cars. The Fisker Karma can drive up to 50 miles on one charge on its lithium-ion battery pack. Under the hood is a 260 horsepower Ecotec General Motors engine. Not only does the car get good gas mileage, it can also go 0-60mph in less than six seconds. The Fisker Karma does carry a hefty price tag of $87,900. Be aware that the prototype will make two laps at the 11-turn Laguna Seca course.
AV-X10 Dearborn Doll Mustang

Ford has built a special edition Ford Mustang to complement the Experimental Aircraft Association’s Gathering of Eagles. Ford is calling it the AV-X10 Dearborn Doll Ford Mustang. The AV-X10 features a custom paint job to match WWII aviation paint schemes on old fighter planes. Under the hood is a supercharged 4.6 liter V8 engine that is capable of producing 550 horsepower. Other mods on the car are a performance exhaust, short throw shifter, Handling Pack featuring dampers, lowering springs and anti-roll bar kit. If you’re interested in purchasing this special edition Mustang, the AV-X10 Mustang will be auctioned off for charity at the 2009 EAA Air Venture Oshkosh fly-in convention on July 27-August 2. Last year’s AV8R Mustang brought in an amazing $500,000. So I can’t imagine how expensive this custom Mustang will go for.
Wife goes crazy on SRT8 Challenger

It’s really sad to see great cars get smashed to pieces by exes. This new 2010 SRT8 Challenger has been crucified after a man told his wife that he wanted a divorce. It wasn’t too smart on his part to leave the muscle car in the driveway. I would surely have taken all my valuables out of the house before telling my wife that I want a divorce. Surely you can’t hide all your valuables, but you surely can move your favorite sports car out of the driveway. Oh well, maybe he deserved it, but the car sure didn’t! Poor Dodge!
Fastlane Inc Stage 4 ZL1 Single Turbo Kit
If you’re looking for a big upgrade for your 2010 Camaro SS, you should definitely check out this youtube video. As you will find out as you watch the video, Fastlane Incorporated of Houston Texas has slapped a Stage 4 ZL1 turbo that produces 520 horsepower and 509 torque to the rear wheels on the dyno. If you’re not familair with muscle cars, that is a sure large amount of horsepower for one upgrade. After seeing this video, I truely respect the 2010 Camaro a lot more. Look out Ford and Mopar, you wouldn’t want to go up against this muscle car.
GM to Expand Buick and Chevrolet

Ever since GM has shed off their two automotive divisions Pontiac and Saturn, I have been wondering where they were going to pick up the loss of sales. Well supposedly Mike DiGiovanni has the answer, he has just reported last Wedensday that GM will be expanding their two major divisions Buick and Chevrolet. Giving a larger model lineup of cars. Hey, maybe they’ll bring back the Grand National. I most likely doubt it though. Along with Buick and Chevy, GM will be concentrating more on Cadillac and GMC brands also. There will be some major restructuring to rejuvenate GM.
Top Ten best American made Cars

- 2010 Cadillac CTS
- Chevrolet Malibu
- Ford Fusion
- Ford F-150
- Cadillac DTS
- Ford Edge
- Ford Taurus
- Chevrolet Tahoe
- Ford Expedition
- Ford Mustang
This is MSNBC’s ten of the best American made cars to date. Now I don’t totally agree with the list, but it’s definitely pretty precise. I would of put the Mustang a lot higher, but I definitely would of kept the 2010 Cadillac CTS at the top. My parents ended up buying a Cadillac CTS this year and they absolutely love it. The new LCD navigation is great, along with the new headlights that follow your steering and the great satellite radio option. Now a lot of foreign cars come with these options, but let me tell you what a lot of foreign cars don’t come with. Great American styling such as you see in the picture up above. Hard hitting horsepower, my parents picked up the V6, but this isn’t a regular V6. This V6 in the Cadillac is packing 300 horses under the hood stock and gets great gas mileage also. Other great features include comfortable leather seats, sweet looking rims, and easy navigation on the radio. The car truly speaks American muscle when you look at it and it’s not even a muscle car. I just love the new Cadillac CTS. The other cars on the list are great too, check them out. And go over to MSNBC’s site to get a breakdown on each car. They give pretty honest reviews over there.
Ford EcoBoost

Over the years Ford has always thought that larger engines were the way, well times have changed due to the recession and higher gas prices. So Ford’s new plan consists of electric powertrains and smaller engines. Also turbocharging may be in the works also to keep up the horsepower. The big challenge for Ford is to meet new CAFE regulations and sell pickups/SUVs. The new law past by the Federal Government requires all vehicles to have an average of 35.5mpg in the year 2016. Ford’s new technology to do all this is called Eco Boost. The combination of fuel injection and turbocharging cars such as the Mustang will keep the car in the rankings. Ford’s first four cylinder will go on sale in 2010. Since I’m a big muscle car guy, I’m really wondering how much horsepower these engines will be making for the Ford Mustang. I’m definitely going to miss the sound of the V8 rumble, that’s what defined a muscle car back in the day.
Enzo Ferrari Video
Ever what it would be like racing an Enzo Ferrari, well watch this video and you get a little taste of what it’s like. Just listen how sweet that car sounds, I would love to drive that sports car around my neighborhood. I would wake up every single person out of bed. Man does that exhaust sound sweet. The Enzo just eats up every sports car on the track.
Vaughn Gittin Jr. crashes his 2010 Mustang Drift Car
Yet another 2010 Mustang crash, except this one isn’t by some teenager, the owner if this crashed up Mustang is race car driver Vaughn Gittin Jr. As you watch the video it looks like he really miss judged where the wall is or he could of just lost control of the steering wheel. Really not sure, but when he hit the wall he hit with so much force that the right wheel came completely off and started rolling down the course. Luckily Vaughn Gittin Jr. wasn’t hurt in the accident, but I’m sure he was pretty embarrassed by the crash. Stuff like this happens though when you race cars for a living, I’m sure he’ll get back on top of his game.
