Just announced at the 2010 Auto Show was the green Synergy Camaro. This new special edition Camaro will be available from February to May with a starting price of $26,790. It’s based off of the 1LT V6 platform, making 304 horsepower. You’ll be able to get the six-speed stick or the automatic, but the Synergy Green exterior color will be unique to this limited run and comes with Cyber Grey Rally Stripes, a rear spoiler, 19-inch painted wheels, Synergy Green instrument panel, door inserts and stitching. So if you’re going to buy one you better get your order in.

Finally some of the hideous cars get recognition at the Concours d’LeMons. It’s be long overdue, especially for the Phantom Hurst Edition Pacer! Other vehicles include custom vans like this picture of this B-Rad looking character and his honey above, come on your know B-Rad from Malibu’s Most Wanted. They used call call these classic vans “shagon wagons” back in the 60s and 70s. The orange and brown pinstripes is what really sets this van apart from the others. Definitely not my type of custom vehicle, but hey, whatever floats your boat. The hobby is all about what you like, not what other people like. That’s the modo I live by! I respecet B-Rad and his shagon wagon!

Yet another unique car has been revealed at Pebble Beach, the all new 2011 M sedan. This third gen luxury car has a new long hood, flared fenders and a couple like roofline. The M56 will get a 5.6 liter V8 that will be making 400 horsepower, packing a lot of punch for a luxury car, 30 percent more than the current model. The new model M56 will go on sale next spring.

The $500,000 speed demon 2010 Devon GTX was shown last Saturday at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Its maker Devon Motorworks stuffed a 650 horsepower 8.4 liter V10 under the hood. It has been marked as one of the most powerful naturally aspirated engines ever. It’s a very sweet car indeed, but the sad thing is only 36 of these super cars will be produced each year by Devon Motorworks. For more information on the car, check out Devon Motorworks website.

The 2010 Camaro will be battling the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger in the KONI sports challenge in October. The Momentum race group will be running the new Camaro. Two car teams will be formed with two race veterans Robb Holland and Jeff Altenburg. Testing with the Camaros will start in September.

Could this actually be the new Audi A8 set to come out next year, a reader from Autoblog snapped the photos of these while taking a trip through the Arizona deserr. The car definitely looks sharp, I like the new headlights, look very agressive and appealing to me. The front end hasn’t changed much through, the grilled doesn’t seem to be as rounded, but other than that, really don’t see much. I can see this car being very popular next year.

GM has put a temporary hold on the shipment of current manual transmission models of the 2010 Camaro SS. It’s due to an “in production” review with GM, they are not requesting and vehicles be returned for service.

Well sorry to say the Camaro convertible option will not be available untill 2011. It’s mainly due to the horrible economy and GM facing bankruptcy, if things were better the option would of probably been released with the muscle car. Now it will not be officialy coming out till’ the first quarter of 2011.

If you’re a reader of Jalopnik’s autmotive blog, you probably saw the sweet pictures of the modern age muscle cars together. Jalopnik ended up doing a comparison of all three muscle cars. Overall I think the LS3 Camaro came up top, with the best performance and looks.

Seems as though the Camaro is a favorite amongst automotive enthusiasts when compared to the new Mustang. The last two months the Camaro has outdone Ford with the Mustang. Chevy sold about 2,200 less Camaros (9,320 vs. 7,113) in July than they did June and that’s with Cash for Clunkers running. If I had a choice I would definitely pick the Camaro over the Mustang.
