Wife goes crazy on SRT8 Challenger

It’s really sad to see great cars get smashed to pieces by exes. This new 2010 SRT8 Challenger has been crucified after a man told his wife that he wanted a divorce. It wasn’t too smart on his part to leave the muscle car in the driveway. I would surely have taken all my valuables out of the house before telling my wife that I want a divorce. Surely you can’t hide all your valuables, but you surely can move your favorite sports car out of the driveway. Oh well, maybe he deserved it, but the car sure didn’t! Poor Dodge!
Vaughn Gittin Jr. crashes his 2010 Mustang Drift Car
Yet another 2010 Mustang crash, except this one isn’t by some teenager, the owner if this crashed up Mustang is race car driver Vaughn Gittin Jr. As you watch the video it looks like he really miss judged where the wall is or he could of just lost control of the steering wheel. Really not sure, but when he hit the wall he hit with so much force that the right wheel came completely off and started rolling down the course. Luckily Vaughn Gittin Jr. wasn’t hurt in the accident, but I’m sure he was pretty embarrassed by the crash. Stuff like this happens though when you race cars for a living, I’m sure he’ll get back on top of his game.

2010 Saleen 435S Mustang

Saleen will be unveiling the first version of the 2010 Ford Mustang at Myrtle Beach July 24th, 2009, they have dubbed it the Saleen 435S. The muscle car will have the Saleen Series VI supercharger and make about 435 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque. Other mods include a short-throw shifter, five-spoke alloy wheels, and a body kit. The 435S Saleen sits 1.5 inches lower than the stock Mustang GT and rides on racecraft suspension to improve handling out on the road and track. If you’re not familiar with Saleen, this will be the first Mustang to roll out under the company’s new owners. Steve Saleen, the previous owner of the company retired back in 2007, later to start up another company performance called SMS. The new owners of Saleen Performance remarked that a more powerful Mustang will be shown by the company at SEMA next spring.
I think the front and side of the 435S look great, don’t like the rear end very much. But, I’ll have to wait till’ I see it in person to give more of an insight on the muscle car. So far it looks pretty good though.
The SMS 460 Mustang
SMS has just released their new performance version of the Mustang, it will start at a hefty price of $64,990. Steve Saleen the owner of SMS, is planning two version of the 2010 Mustang. One model(SMS 460) sporting 470 horsepower and the other with 655 horsepower(SMS 460X). These two beasts will be availble this summer through many dealeships and SMS. Both get the SMS 296 custom supercharger and have the option of either getting a manual or automatic transmission. I suggest going with the six speed manual, it’s capable of going 0-60mph in around four seconds.

2010 Bumblebee Camaro

The optional Bumblebee package is now available for the 2010 Camaro, I know a lot of Camaro enthusiasts are really excited about this. The package will run you about $995. It’s exactly like the muscle car from the first Transformers, it would of been nice if it came with the big hood scoop like in Transformers 2. The Transformer shields also come on the side panels and in the center caps of the wheels, as well as an embroidered shield on the center console. The Transformers logo shows up on the sill plates and hood stripes. It is truely a uniqe package for the 2010 Camaro, I’m sure I’ll see one in my area real soon.
Factory Track Pack for 2010 Mustang

If you think the Mustang’s suspension isn’t stiff enough, Ford gives you two options to upgrade. One option called the Track Pack package available this summer and the other for more serious racers, Ford Racing’s own FR3 Handling Package. Car and Driver just reviewed the Track Pack and said it was outstanding. Beat the other two muscle cars in its class by far.
High Demand for Super Snake Package

Since there is such a big demand for the Super Snake package, Shelby Automobiles will be unveilling a new program to turn a number of 2010 Ford Shelby GT500s into Super Snake cars. The output ratings for these cars will be from 630 to 725 horsepower.

Both packages will be covered under the normal Ford warranty which is good. Other modifications on the Mustang include a Ford Racing Handling Package, interior upgrades, and a body kit to improve the looks of the car.
K&N Air Filter for 2010 Chevy Camaro

If you have a brand new 2010 Camaro, be aware that K&N has just come out with an air filter to increase the performance on your Camaro. These air filters are made of 4 to 6 layers of cotton gauze sandwiched between two epoxy-coated aluminum wire screens. Best material to reach the highest amount of air flow necessary for your engine.
